Drywall, Taping and Finishing, Including Level 5
Finishing is the part of the wall everyone sees. Under raking light, in a tall space or on a feature wall, the quality of the board and the tape decides how the whole interior reads. Wahlz hangs, tapes and finishes drywall as the last step of a wall system we have built from the framing up.

Level 5 drywall finishing
Level 5 is the highest drywall finish level. After taping and standard finishing, the entire surface gets a skim coat so the board, joints and fasteners all share one uniform surface. It is the right call for walls under raking light, tall walls beside large windows, glossy or dark paint, and feature walls where any flaw would show. Wahlz delivers Level 5 where the specification calls for it, with the framing and board set up from the start to support it.
Why the finish starts at the framing
Most finishing problems begin earlier: framing that is out of line, board joints in the wrong place, a rushed schedule after an insulation delay. Because Wahlz controls the sequence from steel to final coat, the finisher inherits a wall that was built to be finished well.
Large residential work
At Donaldson Drive in Port Carling, we delivered steel framing, drywall, taping, finishing and priming across eight luxury townhomes with Mazenga. About 140,000 sq ft was managed and finished on schedule.
Multi-unit and commercial
At Treetops Condominiums in Huntsville (about 30 units, with Best Life Group) and Vetta Spa in Horseshoe Valley, taping and finishing were delivered with framing, insulation and drywall. In Barrie, finishing was part of a full church interior under one contract.
