Interior Painting, Coordinated With Drywall and Finishing

Paint shows every flaw in the wall behind it. Wahlz provides interior painting coordinated with drywall and finishing under one contract, so the walls are framed, boarded and finished by the same team that paints them, and nobody has to hand off a wall that someone else has to fix before the first coat.

What we deliver

• Priming of finished drywall
• Interior painting of finished walls and ceilings, where it is part of the interior scope
• Paint sequenced with drywall, taping and finishing, including Level 5 where the finish calls for it

Why paint belongs with the finishing

When finishing and paint are separate subcontracts, touch-ups and finish disputes are sorted out on site, after the fact. With Wahlz, the finish and the paint are planned together by one team, with one accountable contact when the schedule moves.

Where we have done it

On a custom home in Baysville, Wahlz carried insulation, drywall and paint, painting the finished surfaces under floating lit ceilings and wood ceilings. At a church interior build-out in Barrie, some paint was part of a scope that ran from steel framing to ACT ceilings. At the Donaldson Drive townhomes in Port Carling, the scope ran through priming.

What we need to bid

Drawings, the finish schedule or paint specification, and your target schedule. Send them with the rest of the interior drawings, and the bid will show the full interior in one place.
